Chirp SYNC SERVICE RESTORED
Chirp SYNC SERVICE RESTORED
Posted By: Jay Batson On: 25 Jan 2010 12:03 PM
Details
The Chirp sync service was unavailable for the weekend ending 24 January 2010. Service has been restored.
The cause of the service outage was a misunderstanding between Plum Canary and our data center provider concerning who, and when our SSL certificate was to be reissued for the sync server. Since the outage occurred during the weekend, we were not able to get a new certificate issued until Monday, 25 Jan 2010. The new certificate was handled in an accelerated fashion, and service was returned around 11:00am on Monday.
Please accept our apologies for the outage.
Fortunately, your Chirp client will have queued up all the changes to your database that were made during the outage, and should now be synchronizing them across your team properly. You will not have lost any updates.
